This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Low, Lower, Lowest.

#1 Postby Swimdude » Sun Oct 16, 2005 10:03 pm

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed but TD24 has a pressure of 1001 mb. Both Emily and Katrina were 50 mph TS's when they had this same pressure. Rita was a 55 mph TS with a 1001 mb pressure.

So my question is... Does anyone know of the lowest pressure a Tropical Depression has ever had? TD24's seems to be the lowest I can find.
