FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

THE REMNANT CIRCULATION OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION SEVENTEEN-E
IS LOCATED ABOUT 415 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF MANZANILLO MEXICO.
RE-DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS NOT EXPECTED.

SHOWER ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED
ABOUT 1575 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS HAS
INCREASED IN ORGANIZATION DURING THE AFTERNOON. SLOW DEVELOPMENT
OF THIS SYSTEM MAY BE POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT
MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH.


ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.

THE SWIRL OF LOW CLOUDS AND SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A WEAK SURFACE
TROUGH LOCATED ABOUT 1075 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF HILO...HAWAII
REMAINS COMPLETELY DEVOID OF DEEP CONVECTION THIS AFTERNOON. HOSTILE
UPPER-LEVEL WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO INHIBIT ANY FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
WITHIN THIS SYSTEM AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

NO TROPICAL CYCLONES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
