Trivia:

February 1 1985 was one of the coldest days ever recorded in the Rocky Mountains.

Maybell Colorado dropped to -61; a state record. Taylor Park dropped to -60.

Utah also recorded a low of -69 at Peters Sink; a state record there as well.
