Neat footage, the first one says 1981 instead of 1982 on youtube. I don't know about Houston, but in San Antonio we did have a snow in Jan '82 and not '81. In 1989 we were dry in SA and miserably cold

It was January of 1982 when Houston got hit by the freeze. It was mostly a freezing rain and sleet even. Just a trace of snow fell that time. Houston was really cold and snowy in December of 1989.
