With the exception of looking out of an airplane's window and seeing a snow capped mountain in Mexico way back in 1980, I've never seen snow in my life!

After last winter and 40"+ of snow I think I am in the snow kingdom as well.

If the Farmer's Almanac is any good and my grandfather is very accurate -- this winter could be one of the worst in SW MO in many, many years.

I almost saw snow just last year here in Florida.. I was not on the coast on 1/24.. but that's the day we had the famous cold temps. and the "ocean effect" snow flurries.

I remember, I think our HIGH that day was like 43

That I am Luis. Last winter was the first one since I was five or six that I remember being snowy (or at least having a lot of snow). I am hoping that this winter isn't as bad because I travel about 50 miles each day (one way -- so that is actually 100 miles a day) commuting to college. I don't need snow or ice getting in my way.

Well, based on the last year or two we haven't been too snowy, but a normal year brings us quite a bit of snow!! I think the Winter Weather forum is very fitting, it feels like November here! LOL

Wow ..Just looking at the Headlines in the forum puts a chill on my cold lovin bones. I remember those days in Minnesota well. I'll take the nice cool/dry breeze from a washed out Canadian front over the Arctic Blast everyday. 8-)
