1st of new season snow for Cascades

#1 Postby camrail69 » Fri Oct 10, 2003 3:29 pm

Last nights storm dumped about 1 to 2 inches of snow down to 4000 ft level in the Willamette Pass area of The Oregon Cascades! Sign of an early Winter!!! USFS Lookout still up and had so much snow in her rain guage that she couldn't get a reading. Also reporting 30 degrees and 50 fuel stick reading on Oct 10th!!!

LOL, amazing! Those mountains DO get
cold at night, though. My fingers are
crossed for a cool-down here, soon!
