rob guarino is going to have his winter outlook on thurs oct 30th. He says this winter may be similar to last winter, but with a twist. What does everyone think he means by this twist? does anyone else see this as a similar winter to last for the northeast?

Blizz96 - If I had to go out on a limb, I would think Rob Guarino may be thinking that we get a similar number of winter storms this year in the Philly area - but perhaps more in the way of ice storms than we had last year. This is just a hunch, as I would not expect him to predict another winter of over 40" of snow.

True. What I am saying is that he will not predict an amount similar to what we actually received last year - since it is extremely rare to get back-to-back 40"+ snow season in Philly.
