How much credibility...

#1 Postby wx247 » Sat Dec 13, 2003 1:30 pm

do some of you forecasters give to the 6-10 day, 8-14 day, and 30 day outlooks. The reason I ask is because I don't pay attention to them very often, but I was interested in seeing how they were predicting December and I noticed they were forecasting above avg. temps here. So far, we are -3.1º below normal this month. We shall see I guess.

I am not a forecaster. But I wonder why they try to predict so far out in advance sometimes..
