A LOT of speculations regarding the 18z cold as hell solution have arisen, and based SOLELY on that run, and that run alone, is the GFS cold bias in effect here? ...

IMHO, not significantly... IF the 18z GFS is plunging the motherlode of ARCTIC AIR and it's shallow nature as it DEPICTS, then the air WOULD be quite close and cuts into the typical bias here significantly.

I'm not saying the 18z GFS is right or wrong, just my interpretation.

Yes SF...i am thinking the models are DEFINITELY onto something....but the GFS is overdoing it i think....
