Wow, it's been that long? In Yorktown we reached around 3.9 degrees on Febuary 3rd of 96. I would think for sure New York would have reached atleast 0. http://www.wunderground.com/history/air ... MANAC=KORF

talk about weird, Central Park had a high of 40 and a low of 27 on Febuary 3rd.

The Arctic Blast of 1996 did not reach the area untill Feb 4 i believe

Chris,

January 5-6, 1996 saw single-digit low temperatures in Central Park at 8 and 6 degrees respectively. Moreover, January 3 through January 11 saw subfreezing maximum temperatures.
