I think the fact that both Joe B and LC are starting to hype this as a possible major winter storm for the East Coast is enough reason to dismiss this storm.

Well the GFS takes it out to sea. A possible hit for the carolinss. If the the european shows it tonight, then we can talk. I have seen this to many times this year. To me it looks like another fish storm.

Right now, it looks like another miss for the MA and NE...should be surpressed S and be a rain maker for the SE and NC.

I just don't get my hopes up anymore this winter. If vegas did oddds for storms, I would bet out to sea and nothing up our way.

Poofs...it is way to early to consider this a legitimate snowstorm threat yet.

Yea that is true. The GFS is usaully not any good at this range. I guess we wil have to wait a few hours and then get a peak.

Brett - thanks for posting that information on the weekend storms. I thought I saw that somewhere.

Poofs...it is way to early to consider this a legitimate snowstorm threat yet.
- or to dismiss it as one too. It'll be one to watch, but I think I'm with John - if JB and LC are hyping it now, it won't happen!

Hey Collin.

You may be correct but I see that there may be a chance that there be cold air in place just long enough to produce some snow for our area.

The future radars are pointing for something like that to happen.

This may be our last chance for any snow to fall but who knows for sure.

We have been having some very nice weather here where you and I are located and that alone can make our thinking more on the negative side.

It doesn't really matter anyway. I am ready for spring.
