It's over... complete consensus for a suppressed system from 00z ETA, 00z GFS, 00z GGEM, and 12z Euro. I said earlier this is a volatile situation and minor differences early on can lead to major differences come Wednesday, but with this kind of model agreement I'm ready to give up. Looks like it's time to start rooting for 70's and severe thunderstorms.

I seriously doubt we see another snowstorm this winter. What a disappointing winter. As Brett said, bring on the Severe thunderstorms.

Chris, I don't know about your location, but DCA has never seen a significant snowstorm in April. Unless we are in a favorable pattern sometime between now and March 15, there is no hope for us to see another significant accumulating snowfall.

Brett, I understand, That The DCA area, will not look good for snowfall ( But Ya gotta remember, Who the heck knows what might happen) I bet You all want this: Found it off Don's Website: April 10-12, 1894: Severe coastal storm brings 14" of snow to Waterbury, CT and 9" at Providence. Parts of the Mid-Atlantic region received 20"-24" of snow. ( Wouldn't that be nice) Lets Hope History Repeats its self.

The models have done this all year...they show big storms that pan out to nothing...Maybe they have hype algorithms???

I am with you poofs, another model hype only to get let down as the day grows near. Yesterday NWS D.C sounded very concerned, today they are ready to drop props and have raised temps a bit on Wed.
