So is this the year Houston gets some snow? I would like some other opinions besides my own.. lol... I think so..

I am not talking about accumulating snow, but I think Houston could see snowfall this season as a consequence of all the frigid air that may come down south in January and February. I think it may even be possible that the grassy areas could be whitened some.

I see it as a good possibility. We just barely missed it last year. With a stronger, albeit very mild, El Nino in effect we could see a cut off develop at the tail end of a front and if it(the front) is strong enough we could see a few white things in the air. Of course we can always hope for my 10" snowfall prediction in the 2005 predictions thread in off topic too.

My dad has more of a weather gut than I do, and he also thinks this might be the year as well... I am going to keep my fingers crossed!

Southeast, Texas will see some snow this year. How much is anyone's guess. Write it in stone.
