After having a clipper come through last night with a predicted 1-2 inches and instead winding up with 4-6 inches (our first "major" snow of the year, now this note from the discussion is posted on the Duluth NWS site:

KEEPING AN EYE ON THE POSSIBLE MAJOR SYSTEM SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. GFS IS CURRENTLY KICKING OUT WARNING CRITERIA SNOW AMOUNTS FOR THE AREA MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT. THE 06Z DGEX ISN'T QUITE AS AMBITIOUS WITH A TRACK THAT IS FURTHER SOUTH AND EAST AND LESS OVERRUNNING MOISTURE. WILL KEEP CHC POPS UNTIL MORE CONFIDENCE IN THE TRACK IS ASCERTAINED.
