GFS 0Z run shockingly cold!

#1 Postby Portastorm » Thu Dec 16, 2004 6:53 am

Y'all have to see today's (Thur) 0Z run of the GFS.

Zero to below zero temps here in Austin for at least 36 hours around Christmas?! Oh my .... and snow/ice as well?

This is the most extreme scenario yet and if it comes close to verifying ... we're talking historic cold. Wow man. Wow.

What does it look like for Houston? Those are certainly extreme temps!

Extreme cold.

I really like what the models show on Christmas Eve here... rain changing to snow with enough to make the ground white? :woo:

The After Christmas storm looks even better.
