CPC forcast for January

#1 Postby aggiecutter » Thu Dec 23, 2004 12:50 am

They think it'll be warmer than normal out West, the Northern plains and Alaska. The rest of the country is pot luck. If it is indeed warmer than normal in Alaska and on west coast, then there's a good chance everyone east of the Rockies will be at or more than likely below normal. The pattern will probably break for a couple weeks then winter will return to the central and eastern parts of the country around mid-January.

They ALWAYS say warmer than normal for us, virtually every single time. This month has (at least up till now) been BELOW normal. The week of lows in the 30s at the start of the month helped with that. A lot.
