Question for the Pro's

Looking at the latest IR sat for the GOM it shows a plume of moisture heading for south LA. Also there almost appears to be a dry/clearing line coming down from central Texas towards the coast. Is that going to keep mivng south and east and clear this weather up or what? I am just not sure as to exactly what that is? Appreciate any help. :?:

I said that IMO whatever wintry precip fell would have to do so quickly to outrun the dry air coming in from the northwest.

Yeah I saw that. But other peolpe keep saying the opposite or that is not what they here from another source. I would like someone to shed some light on this for us.
