Scorpion wrote:Wow, I cannot imagine how much snow some areas in the higher terrain in the White Mountains got! Puts the 3 feet of snow I saw when I was there last to shame! I cannot imagine 10 foot drifts. And this is going to all happen again soon, with maybe more snow. The snow could cover houses  .

Yup, yup....it's gonna BE one of THOSE winters 8-) FINALLY, after "9 YEARS"....it's ABOUT TIME, sad part is, we need 4-5 winters like this in a row to even make a DENT in the drought, although, this should HELP!

NOW....speaking of drought etc, my annual snowpack per calender year is 132", since Nov, I've already had 62", almost HALF WAY AND if these other systems pan out, could be there by the end of the month!

BTW....ST RT. 260 is open, we are taking a drive tomorrow to take photos, can't WAIT to see what ALL the FUSS was about! I can ONLY IMAGINE what it's like in the Sierra Nevadas, saw on The Weather CHannel today that SOME areas have 8 FEET on level ground
