If this storm materializes its potential, it will be one heck of a winter beast. Don't go hoarding food yet, however, do have these things in mind:

Check flashlights and portable radios, batteries, etc. in case power goes out

Keep emergency winter kit in car

Have warm clothes available, including boots, mittons, scarves, hats, etc.

Keep listening to forecasts.
