Winter Hazards Through Sunday AM

This shows the expected hazards for the central and Eastern US through Sunday Morning. The winter storm, and I stress it being weak could dump a few inches possibly 5 to 6 in spots with, an icy mess for the southeast and just south of the accumulating snowfall.

Gothpunk-IL-WX:

Great map-based on the 0z run of the models it looks great. However, the 06z GFS and 06Z NAM are much weaker with the precip. and much warmer on temps. According to the 06z gfs I will hardly get anything on the Sunday/Monday event as it takes the low way south-almost into Mexico. The 0Z euro however, has the same track it has-even a bit further North than the 12Z run. These models can drive you nuts-time to watch radar and sat. images-if the 12 runs for the GFS and NMA are in line with the 06Z, then i think I am in trouble for the whole event. I really do think the 12z runs will come back to what the 0z runs showed. If this event does not verify this weekend, I am in big trouble for winter weather-I may wind up with 10 inches of snow for the whole year total!!!
