Capt.Crunch miss You

#1 Postby ETXHAMXYL » Wed Feb 09, 2005 10:04 pm

hey Capt. sure do miss your posts.
Ive noticed the robins in my yard and the trees are showing buds...so will they get a chill anytime soon? Feb. weather is boring this year so far, but at least it hasn't been a rollercoaster like Jan.
I'm almost ready to forget the winter and start looking forward to our spring severe storms. Getting my ham gear tuned up for some storm spotting.
Can you look into your weather crystal ball and see what might be coming down the pike?
Thanks

I also live in the DFW area. I have a feeling there might be another Winter Storm a few days after Valentine's Day. For the past couple of years, we had a white Valentine's Day. Last year, we had up to 4 inches of snow in Irving.

Hey everyone, I have been really busy the past few day's. I did a article for the S2K news letter and I have been a little under the weather as well.

It has been pretty nice the past few days in NTX, the temps have been normal or just below, and the rain has been nice because we were so dry thru out Jan. Rain again is in the forecast for this weekend and after that things look to be just about the norm for the next 10 days. Temps will be up and down for the next couple of weeks with some days reaching the lower 60's for highs and other's only the upper 40's.

No real winter weather problems is expected over the next 10 days for NTX at this time.

From the way things are going, there won't be any more winter weather until next year.

Looking at next Thursday and Thursday night we may be surprised?? I will keep watching the models and if things still look good by Sunday night into Monday then we'll have something to talk about.
