I remember the thundersnow episode where Jim Cantore was in Worcester, MA ... and he was literally about to come out of his shoes. Before Kristina Abernathy could finish her monologue, Jim was speaking, "Kristina! Kristina! we just had thunder .... snow." Before the actual live cut-in, they had taped previously when the lightning had illuminated the whole sky, and Jim asked, "Was that lightning?" a few seconds later, a nice rumble of thunder filled the still air w/a very heavy snowband. Snowfall rates were 4" an hour.

I have been thru several thundersnow, one thundersleet, and one thunderstorm with ZR here in CHS.
