Noreaster, I agree with your precip totals, although I think cone of heaviest snow will actually go almost horizontal, from south central PA straight across to central Jersey.

I agree with Noreaster's second map being more accurate; I wrote my first response without having seen the 2nd map, and it is close to what I had in mind; I think the split in heavy snow bands is incorrect though: look for solid strip of 8+ inches from state college, south to the mason dixon line, then east to N central Jersey.

I am stick with my prediction from earlier this week for 1 foot of snow in Philly; perhaps 14 inches in some areas

Buddy,it may be more,not by much,the far end of the scale as I see it could be a 12"16" band from DC to Cape Cod,but I do think the Cape will get blasted much harder.
