but hasn't that been the general feeling around here for the past 18 hours or so (that even though the models weren't agreeing on it, the 95 corridor would get slammed)? I'm not trying to discount what you are saying, but I don't get what the big deal about that is. Was this not the case before with that model? Sorry, if I actually understood all this weather stuff I probably wouldn't be asking these questions and sounds like a retard.

the ETA and GFS yesterday were predicting a track inland, which would have wrapped warm air in on the east side; this would have resulted in rainstorm in the I95 corridor.

the eta still does but ever since yesterday, it made an eastward progression while the gfs made significant eastward progression

ETA is now only model showing storm inland; this will likely change with subsequent runs...

Just watched the local weather (whdh) she is now leaning towards a track offshore which would give us Most if not All Snow. With High Winds over 50 MPH.

I wish everyone in the Northeast got 4 feet from this storm.....all the way from the ohio valley to the coast. Damn, it!!! We all deserve it!!!! Nobody should be left out!!!!
