Well, I know their are PLENTY of watches out now but just thought I'd post the one for my area at this time. :D


WINTER STORM WATCH

URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA
348 AM EST SUN FEB 27 2005

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS
POSSIBLE, BUT NOT IMMINENT. AT THIS TIME, THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. FUTURE DRIVING AND WALKING
CONDITIONS MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS, SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO MONITOR THE
LATEST FORECASTS.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO LATE MONDAY
NIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH PA HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH.

THE COMBINATION OF A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE GULF OF
MEXICO, AND ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE MOVING IN FROM THE WEST, WILL SPREAD
SNOW INTO OUR AREA TOWARD DAYBREAK MONDAY. A WINTRY MIX OF SLEET AND
FREEZING RAIN COULD OCCUR MONDAY MORNING. THE INTENSITY AND TRACK OF
THIS COMPLEX WEATHER SETUP IS UNCERTAIN, BUT THE POTENTIAL FOR 6
INCHES OR MORE OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE.

WARNINGS MAY BE NEEDED AS THE STORM CONTINUES TO EVOLVE.
STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO AND OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS FOR FURTHER
DETAILS AND UPDATES.

No winter storm watches for Western NY...... :cry: , but we may get more snow even after the storm is gone from lake enhancement and lake effect......but only a maybe. Gipped once again from a big dump... :grrr:

Hey, I know the feeling BELIEVE ME! And this thing certainly isn't etched in stone yet as the track is still uncertain with different models saying different things. ETA seems to be back with inland track last I checked and the last NAM said the same thing. The other ones disagree with that. HOPEFULLY, things get more cleared up today as the day goes on.

Probably. The WSW is still up as of 10:30AM so we'll see.

Yeah I know. Models still saying we are getting snow too. So we will see.
