Kocin just said that the one model showing an inland track was finally moving east. I figured he was talking about this.

now you can be safe to say that the big cities will likely see mostly snow

Not really. It's going to be too close to call for DC and Balto. They are right on the line. On the other hand, some models show the heaviest snow occurring in these areas...ironic.

but could this support the claim in other thread that everything might move too far east for the big cities (specifically DC)? Seems like the NAM was the only thing holding everything back from being too far east.

I know they are but 3 out of 4 local mets say it will changeover in philly. One said that 12"+ is likely.TWC is finally saying all snow.

This storm system is so big, there is no such thing as "too far east". If it were to move too far east, it would be snowing in Japan!LOL

DC and Baltimore will be close, they could get slammed or get little

I just looked at the latest radar loop and this thing is really starting to explode now in the southeast. And the system in the midwest is lighting up too and heading eastward. The two look to me like they are going to combine perfectly and become a monster in the east. This thing definitely has good potential for a lot of areas. Just my opinion from looking at the latest radar and satellite loops.
