This break at LEAST has dried things out JUST a TAD.....my yard is NO LONGER a LAKE, just 4-7" DEEP of MUD and MUCK, which BTW, is O'TAY, at least my water bill this summer SHOULD be a LOT less!

FXUS65 KFGZ 020931 AFDFGZ AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FLAGSTAFF 230 AM MST WED MAR 02 2005 .SYNOPSIS...WEAK HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE STATE TODAY WILL BREAK DOWN BY THIS EVENING. A WEAK STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH NORTHERN ARIZONA TONIGHT...WITH A CHANCE FOR RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS FROM FLAGSTAFF NORTHWARD INTO THURSDAY MORNING. ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL ARRIVE BY THE WEEKEND...WITH RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS POSSIBLE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. && .DISCUSSION...A WEAK S/WV RIDGE AXIS FULL OF CIRRUS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE CWA TODAY. THIS RIDGE AXIS WILL HAVE LITTLE EFFECT ON THE SURFACE WEATHER...AND MAY EVEN RESULT IN SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES. A S/WV TROUGH BEHIND THE RIDGE WILL MOVE THROUGH NORTHERN ARIZONA THIS EVENING AND INTO EARLY THURSDAY...VERY SIMILAR TO THE SYSTEM FROM MONDAY NIGHT. WE HAVE RAISED POPS SLIGHTLY...AND DROPPED THEM FARTHER SOUTH MONDAY EVENING TO ACCOUNT FOR THIS. ANOTHER WEAK RIDGE WILL MOVE OVER THE SOUTHWEST INTO FRIDAY...AHEAD OF A STRONGER LOW DUE OVER THE WEEKEND. THIS LOW IS COMING INTO BETTER AGREEMENT AMONG THE MODELS...AND WE WILL RAISE POPS ACCORDINGLY. Yes Dennis, it does appear that this weekend could be wet again...and after such a nice one down here in the Valley last weekend.
Like you, water bills have dropped significantly. I expect that utilities will be crying about it before long since they need the revenue!!!
We were going to head to Jerome and Sedona on Saturday, but not if it is dreary and rainy.
Take care, and let's keep an eye on that horizon!
