URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA
307 PM EDT SAT APR 23 2005

MUSKINGUM OH-NOBLE OH-TUSCARAWAS OH-
307 PM EDT SAT APR 23 2005

...SNOW ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 AM EDT
MONDAY...

PERIODS OF SNOW TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT WILL BRING TOTAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 5-8 INCHES BY MONDAY MORNING. THE WARM GROUND MAY
INITIALLY CAUSE SOME OF THE SNOW TO MELT...BUT AS TEMPERATURES DROP
LATE TONIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN TO ACCUMULATE.

UNTREATED ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY. MOTORISTS
SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION AND REDUCE SPEED.

Snow Adv cancelled. Expecting 1 to 3 inches generally across the area.

Yep, we had that trace here in Cincinnati. My deck and grassy areas had a dusting. Might have even been 1/2 inch on the deck. But it all quickly melted.

What a raw, cold, windy weekend it's been though. We had switched over to A/C and then had to go back to heat. Couldn't go without, temps barely topped 40 on Saturday.

This was a weekend that surprised many!

I would say we had a total of 1 to 2 inches after all the melting. If it all wouldve stuck, we would of had a significant accumulation. Maybe 6 to 12".

What is the latest you remember getting snow there and the earliest?

I dont remember. I think weve had some flurries in early April but nothing like this. It snowed moderate to heavy starting Sat night into early this morning. Pittsburgh International Airport reported 2". They were calling for 5 to 8 but I think they got excited and didnt take in consideration the sun angle. If it was January, we wouldv'e had well over a foot.
