We were just put under a WWA here in the Wichita Falls area. Possibly up to an inch of sleet and snow.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Low 20s and sleet reports growing in northwestern DFW. This is well ahead of the main precip area around and NW of WF.

Do you think it’s possible maybe a line of sleet or mixed precip storms could form across the metroplex? Or will it be mostly isolated sleet showers.

That graupel/snow made a direct hit on my house, according to neighbors back home.

It is def possible to get mixed precip or even snow later tonight anywhere along and north of I-20. Temps are such that it will stick until morning so I expect some spots will wake up to a dusting by morning.

Not sure why the image keeps coming out sideways but I fought it all I could. Accumulating pretty well here. :froze:

Edit: imgbb seems to be acting up. Cannot get my pics to post properly. About an inch so far and still coming down.

Let the mid-long range 0z GFS verify! It's a pretty good pattern for snow. PV nearby and undercutting STJ.
