Snow is starting to pick back up a tad. There is a lot of yellow towards forth worth and Cleburne. Hopefulle that stays together. If so we'll easily break an inch or two.

Looks like the yellow though is kind of dying out over the past hour or so.

Check out the road conditions in Denton county, all snow covered. We are really taking a beating compared to others it looks like. Glad I went to the store yesterday and stocked up on food.

Hey folks, the 12Z Euro suggests a robust over running event mid week for TX with the cold air well established.

We should be pretty glad that we were fortunate enough to be on the back side of the this storm at it's max. Even though we sat barely on the edge we were primed enough to cool the columns for snow even with warmer temps vs places to the east where it's well below freezing with freezing rain.

Time to shift resources to midweek as Srain just mentioned!

Is it me or is the precip dying out while at the same time not moving anywhere or slowly at that?

You know even though we got spoiled last year I think it's safe to say we're still the ones getting lucky. This could have easily been an all rain event or just ice. We got lucky again, though.

Now we might have more chances. Even though Mother Nature likes to trick us sometimes, she still loves us.

Yeah it's weakening, you still have another hour maybe two of good snow though.

Euro also shows another potentially big system after the overrunning event midweek.
