Well this is a thread i certainly like and love seeing..............Thanks Dennis:)..........Well as far as my first snowfall goes i will say it will happen on the 25th of October....................Kinda looks like from the other replies i see here that us folks in Western PA, Ohio and Indiana are expecting a earlier arrivall to winter this year unlike the last several???????????? We shall see...........

My first snowfall last season was October 30. It was an early start to the season :D

Wow...........What a difference only a couple Hundred miles makes because i didnt see mine untill late november....................I suspect the lake had something to do with that early snow you had IndianaWx?????? I remember it beeing Chilly on Holloween but nothing out of the ordinary here in North Central Ohio...................Either way im not getting into much more about this up comming winter untill i put out my Winter Outlook in the USA forum in the next day or so......................

Actually, I think we might be due for a dusting this winter. I'll pick Feb 12, 2004. Mid February is the "peak" of the Houston snow season. Really! :wink:

WoW! Your calling for a early one as well rock!!!!!!!! And i see wxman57 thinks the south will get some as well.............Sorry HD but im with wxman57 on that call!..............No snow Nazi this winter......LOL..................That area is do btw. There's some early guess' here, I for one truly believe we are going to have a very early, cold, wet winter. The Gulf Of Alaska has become very active already, from my knowledge, isn't this about a month early??

I will have to say October 18th here. It will come and go a couple of times from then on, but the first measurable will be around then.

Yep... anyone remember 1989 or 1993?? Both those saw snow on or before Halloween in OH/KY/IN, I think we're due this year.

Well, Wxman57 is correct about Feb. 12th being the heighth of our "snow" season. In fact in 19ought73(way back when!!) we had 3 snows. Jan. 12, Feb. 9 and Feb 16, ALL MEASUREABLE!!!! Not our only measureable snows mind you but a BIG, BIG, BIG snow year for us. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm sticking with my earlier January 12, 2004 prediction since it appears everything is early this season so far.
