Haha good for you. Post some pics or it didn't happen. :cheesy:

I mean I get the point about it not being the same but I always regretted last year that I didn't come up here for some storm and this one is bigger

Too bad the Chiefs are in Denver this Sunday. That would have been a fun game to attend

I’ve honestly thought about driving to Kansas to see some snow. Starting to itch lol

Drove through KC years ago. About a 9 hour drive IIRC.

That run might be a big hitter if it went out to 180 hrs, the low almost looks like it will kick out.

Fresh Arctic air heading down central plains to reinforce what’s already in place at end of run too. It could be a heavy snow producer if it kicks out in time and draws that air in. The S/W associated with that air is likely the key piece to kick the ULL out of the southwest, something to follow closely over the next few days. It will be rounding the top of the west coast ridge early next week

Just checked the forecast for KC and whatever falls isn't melting anytime soon.

Ok, we had a wonder funeral and it was great to celebrate life and with family.

Made the Costco run on the way back to Ponder.

Anyone got a quick summary on where things stand for NTX?

You’ve missed the roller coaster which means you haven’t missed anything. It looks good then it looks bad. We still know nothing. For you the GFS operational has been the best hope, minus 1 run. Next run starting in just a bit,

I know that was the first thing I checked a few days ago... Such a shame

This storm is literally going to peak during the day Sunday too. Like the NWS point forecasts are insane... Up to 10 inches during the day!!

Kansas City has only had 10 inches in a single day 7 times in history :double:

Really upset to be missing Kansas snow since I was planning on being home this weekend. But, due to ice I could see being stuck until Monday even with more plows, which is a no-go. Christmas event pushed to Jan. 25 now. lol.

Glad Brent drove.

If you get an Airbnb it feels like you are seeing it at home at least.

Fingers crossed for DFW…

I'm going to flip some tables over if it misses DFW to the South.

Definitely a more “phased “ system on the ICON

Orientation of the trough is being slung northeastward with the phase. Probably won't miss.

Temps are also colder this run.
