Now you are making me hungry! Sounds so good on a cold day! My temp has been holding steady at 35 degrees. But, no rain since 4:30 this afternoon. Everything has dried up.

Well there we go. The inland areas of the coastal counties are now mentioned wirt freezing rain. Won't be much but at least the short tem forecast goes right along with the temps.

Can we rewind and re-live the 2004 coastal snowstorm. What an amazing event. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Just went out in my shorts, t-shirt, and loafers to check for ice (Location: Houston, Westbury Sec. 5 Hillcroft/W. Belfort ). Didn't find any ice on the trees but my neighbor's AC unit has a thin coating of ice forming on the surface of the little puddles of water on its top. So we officially have freezing rain in Westbury with my thermometer reading 32.9.

TWC is showing light snow showers over us. We don't see anything outside at the moment. Or my source  Could it be evaporating before hitting the ground?

Did your neighbor see you? And if so, did he call the men in white coats?

Light rain here...no thermometer outside. But inside, it's a balmy 58°. (Waiting on the space heaters to do their thing.)

Hey, they were jogging shorts. ;-)

And I don't consider 58 degrees in a house "balmy". I consider it freezing! It's 74 degrees in my house. Nice and comfy.

32.7 outside now.

Well...I've got ice forming on my porch railing and on my Yukon. There is also a little bit of sleet mixed in (some little rocks of ice on the hood of the Yukon).
