In Weimar, we got 3.16" in 11 hours according to my Tempest. Tanks are finally getting water and our golf course has standing water.

Here in Comfort TX high 60, only 0.15" of rain. Brethern just 45 miles away in SA got 3"

Finally hit 34 at the airport. Warmest it's been since Thursday. Still saw some ice a half hour ago but it's definitely improving more since sunset. 9 out of 11 days with a high near or below freezing

The TV met has a high of 60 next week and popped a joke about an incident at the Chiefs game last night

Typically when alaska gets cold the US warms up, i expect this to start reversing in the beginning of February, but more so in the 2nd week of february
