Didn't end up too bad here in Edmond/Northwest OKC. Neighborhoods were really slick, but busier roads and highways are pretty clear.

My school seems to be blocking Storm2k now. Ugh, having to use my phone.

I am hopeful for a change by Feb. 10 or so, maybe a bit earlier but usually these get pushed back.

Got to have a mechanism to bring it south, which is usually a -epo. They are hard to get sometimes, depending on the pattern set up

In Weimar, we got 3.16" in 11 hours according to my Tempest. Tanks are finally getting water and our golf course has standing water.

Where is all the warm air I was told about? The high was 33 and the ice didn't even totally melt. Everyone is assuming tomorrow is a normal day :spam:

I think Tammie linked Larry Cosgrove's blog earlier today, but it's worth posting the link again. https://clearskyweather.com/category/my ... st-summary

He is right more often than not. Not sensational like Bastardi or many others.

Finally hit 34 at the airport. Warmest it's been since Thursday. Still saw some ice a half hour ago but it's definitely improving more since sunset. 9 out of 11 days with a high near or below freezing

The TV met has a high of 60 next week and popped a joke about an incident at the Chiefs game last night

But Alaska is frozen.

If I recall correctly that when Alaska gets cold, watch out below!

Typically when alaska gets cold the US warms up, i expect this to start reversing in the beginning of February, but more so in the 2nd week of february

I just want one good snow storm that doesn’t melt in a day. Here’s to February coming through.
