Depending on conditions sometimes even around or just a few minutes after sunrise, as for example this morning in Orlando, the lowest in the morning was 39 deg reported at 7:33 AM, 15 minutes after sunrise.

Wanted to add that I get the feeling that some of the temps in the immediate east FL coast, from the space coast on south, temps will hold steady or start rising after 4 or 5 AM as winds start switching to the N and NE and some of the cloud cover starts moving in.

41 degrees in my house. I'm guessing 37-38 degrees tomorrow. The decrease has slowed a lot. Humidity has increased from 25 to 46%.

Just inched down to 36F here in North Palm Beach, which is the NWS forecast low for my area. Wonder how much lower we are going to get.

West coast of FL is a different story, they did see freezing temps all the way down to the Ft Myers area, but S Fl overall did see many records this morning, including Ft. Lauderdale, Miami Beach and Key West.

I am wondering if that 37F area that extends all the way to the SE part of Lake Okeechobee (see map above) is due to the effect of NW winds blowing over the lake.

Clearly the reason why the SE coast of FL (and parts of the E coast) did not freeze was because the winds veered just barely enough to the NNE to bring in some warmth off the Atlantic.

Actually I am not sure why the East coast of FL stayed above freezing. Looks like all the obs from last night show NW winds.
