I didn't see anything down to the gulf coast as Brent mentioned above. There was some wintry precip up in northern AL and GA. I think to Joe B that's gulf coast states.

NAM out to 84 very close to the GFS/CMC, temps near 50 in DFW Tuesday morning

Nothing impressive there

on Thursday it's snowing in Mexico and well into the 50s in DFW despite the 540 line being south of the metro

and its 15 degrees warmer than the Euro Friday morning when the Euro had a freeze

Saturday morning freeze to the Florida Gulf coast while we're in the 40s

and next weekend we're well into the 60s with no cold air really nearby

The southeast is getting hammered run after run after run on most models. Pretty good consistency there. Nothing too extreme in TX.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure DFW will get a freee or possibly even two freezes by next weekend.

It better not get back up to 70 degrees anytime soon.

besides tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday?

and I'm not so convinced on the DFW freeze next week, I wouldn't rule it out, but I'm definitely not convinced off one run of the Euro which has been horribly inconsistent.

Come on man, don’t be so pessimistic lol I even think down here in SE TX we could see a freeze too. One thing I’ve learned from model watching the past few years is that the models have a very difficult time with artic or Canadian fronts. They usually almost always come in colder than forecast.

I will say part of me has a hard time believing it wont be colder given the pattern, I mean we hit 34 in October with no cold air lol and had sleet too(which seems like a distant memory now)...

but I dunno, its just been so hard to get rid of the warmth

Unfortunately tomorrow, Sunday and Monday will be in the 70s. Monday looks to be the worst but that should change by Tuesday.

Monday has a shot at a record high here(83) because we haven't had enough of those lately

The thing that’s just weird to me is I don’t ever recall so many dense cold air masses want to move east and southeast like this in December. I mean dang, some places are staying 5 or 10 degrees colder for the whole entire run it seems. What’s it going to take for one of these artic blasts to move into our area? It’s so frustrating!!
