So far not too bad. I do feel sorry for anyone who's included in those numbers.

Just about to post this. I'm in Grand Prairie. With more on the way.
I saw that too! It got even heavier here after I posted. Driveway got covered again really quick and it’s still coming down pretty hard.

In what way? A lot of moisture for potential icing problems tonight/tomorrow am?

A lot of water on the streets here. Going to be bad once temps drop later.

Had to switch to the laptop to see post locations. I think there is some snow mixing in here in N. Fort Worth, though still mostly sleet.

Re: Texas Winter 2025-2026
Quiet afternoon in East Texas roads have even melted. Next round of sleet showers moves in around dinner. That should be enough to settle temps back into the 20s. Main event here likely begins around 10pm. I still expect a general a couple inches of sleet tonight. Convective bands may lead to spots getting over 3 inches. Hoping for an inch of snow Sunday morning to cap it off.

Can see that plume of moisture building in Mexico.
Please let it be sleet when it arrives! Really don’t want all that to be freezing rain down here.
