Nice little band starting to form West of DFW actually. Gonna see if this one can overcome the dry air curse.

I’m not seeing any that looks any different than it has...what radar are you using?

RadarScope on expert mode. The echoes aren’t around anymore but it’s a sign of more energy in the area at least.

Gotcha. I was using a lower quality one so that makes sense.

Why does TXDOT keep putting Brine on the highways in Denton County, I35W. Either they have some that's about to go bad or someone who works for TXDOT has a family member who own a Brine producing plant.......

I noticed when DFW had that freezing rain close call that there were a multitude of trucks lined up about a mile apart each on 121. They’re probably just trying to use their budget from the last 4 years.

I swear that is a curse. The last 18 times the brine mixture has been sprayed on area roads, nothing has happened!!! Total waste of civic funds if you ask me. I'm sure it works fine when snow or ice actually falls. But as we all know........that doesn't happen often.

00z DFW sounding is still realllllllyyyyyyy dry but almost the entire column just above the surface is below freezing. Anything that does make it to the surface would probably be snow, if anything can survive the dry air.

Roads in Rockwall were freshly pre-treated earlier on my drive home. Guess TxDOT has nothing better to do.
