I'm just glad I still have power. I'd be going crazy otherwise.

We have blue skies here in Denton. It's weird to look out from my balcony. I can see the heat from the building distorting my view. Anyhow, it's still rather cold and we only have a few more hours of sunlight so I am curious to see how warm we get and how much ice gets evaporated. It's melting some, but still lots left.

Fox4 is predicting up to an inch for us Thursday night into Friday, lol. Then (I think) more next week. Probably the craziest two weeks of winter in a long long long time.

How is the cold looking with the system next week? Some snow would be good this time.

I would refrain from asking specific towns like that. FW is the Dallas area. Dallas gets snow = FW too .

It's not looking as cold as previous runs. Has more of an eastern push also. Might be the same as the one now just not the duration.

Looks like the 12z Euro moves the ULL further north than previous runs and shears it out over the state. Hmmm ...

I would recommend to all Houstonians to stay home on Friday.

Because you guys are the worst drivers on the planet.

I'm also sick of the ice. We tried to go eat out a restaurant about a mile from the house and there was lots of ice on the neighborhood streets. Then the parking lot at the restaurant was a complete sheet of ice, so we didn't eat there. Stopped at Tom Thumb to get some stuff to make a gumbo, and the parking lot had ice as well as the sidewalks. Produce is limited with no deliveries. Stopped at Subway to get a sandwich, slipped on more ice, then the power went out while getting my order.

Are you getting worried Portastorm? If so, you shoudl read the Aus/SA forecast discussions. They are upping accumulations along I-35 to 1-2 inches :D
