Never propagated downward earlier, now it appears it will

It’ll be too late for my part of Texas.

Imo it seems like southeast TX has a better chance at wintry weather in November or early December compared to March.

Latest snowfall in Houston was in Late March, never say never until April.

Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

Never. Another few shots of Canadian air and winter will be over. Nothing remotely close to the week before Christmas. Can't rule out another light freeze in SE TX, though. That 78 degrees yesterday ahead of the front felt a lot better than today's 64F.

I disagree. The 60’s are perfect for outdoor activities.

78 is wonderful in June. Not in February.

I hope we see some more winter weather - if it leads to a few inches of snow. Not if it's another ice storm.

It's very tough to drive deep cold well south without some help from NAO and AO couplet this late into winter. Both are very positive so the broader cold can slip to eastern Canada. What we can look for is similar to the last cold blast with more shallow bleed. It will take 1045+ HP to drill it.

Euro weeklies we cool late in the month and March begins with blocking and probably not a warm start to meteorological spring.

With a bit of surprise snow around KC and OKC I’m hopeful for later.

This could really start to shake this pattern up… and Operationals should start to sporadically pick up on it soon I’d imagine

Some flakes are definitely possible north of I-20 tomorrow. Best chances are west of DFW in higher terrain early morning and then later in day across NE TX as low deepens and pulls in Gulf moisture.

Well I was forecast to get a dusting up here now who knows. Not looking good. Funny how we had two days of nonstop rain and now there apparently is no moisture :spam: we still need a big snowstorm to catch up to climo

I have heard talk of another wintry threat next Wednesday Thursday though
