BigB0882 wrote:Is this a higher ratio event? This snow is not heavy and wet. As matter of fact, it hardly stays on the steeper parts of the roof because the wind blows it all off. I have a huge drift in the corner of my roof that I think I’m going to need to knock down. It’s at least a foot tall in the corner.

Local met mentioned it would be dry and first and then transition to heavy/wet in a few hours. Makes for great snowman building!

It’s really coming down now. I have to have at least 2, if not 3 inches. My dog doesn’t know what to do. I think she needs to poop but just can’t figure out how it works in the snow. Lol

Light snow in Pass Christian MS. Ground is covered with a few blades of grass showing. Looks like an all day snow based on radar......MGC

Would that HRRR be an additional 5 inches for BTR on top of what we already have or just a total for the entire storm? It dropped a good bit from earlier but we must already have 3 inches.

It updates every hour so it was be an additional to what's already on the ground.

New Orleans reporting moderate snow and Houston reporting heavy. Mobile reporting light. If this is light, I can't imagine heavy..lol.

I believe the state of Florida's record snowfall is 4" is from Milton in 1954? That might go down.
