I've gotten enough sprinkling to start showing on roofs and the radar looks better on your end, good luck!

We have a light dusting on the grass and the cars are covered. Not a blizzard, but hey, it looks beautiful.

Moderately snowing in Richardson. Looks like we will end up with a dusting on the grass and elevated surfaces.

But based on the reports I am seeing on this forum, that does not appear to be the case. Dusting at best? Weird.
:double:

Mostly light and fast moving. Most of the bright banding is about 60 miles south of the I-30 corridor towards Hillsboro

Yeah we already have a dusting and coming down pretty good. Maybe we'll get an 1" out of it. I'll go build a small snowman and send a pic to my boys at school. They'll love it.

We just changed over to all snow very quickly. It is a heavy, wet, very large clumpy snow. Falling thickly, but so slowly that you can look up and pick out the flakes you want to catch. Very pretty. Thankful for snow for the kiddos. Hope everyone manages to eek out some today. My thermometer currently says 24* but is fluctuating wildly up to 30*.
Still worried about ice on trees. Will this continue to stick to limbs like freezing rain does?

Texarkana still has a way's to go before the precip ends, if you can take pictures for us!

The low has finally decided to go negative tilt and everyone seems to have switched.

Looks like we have made what is probably the final switch to snow. There are some heavy returns moving this way on radar.

Edit: still periods of sleet should switch over soon. Measured a average of half an inch of sleet and snow over the last hour. That kinda of rate of mixed precip before the main area gets here had me confident in high totals.

In other news...heading to a wedding Friday in Missouri. What's it look like from I-35, through Oklahoma, Kansas and southern Missouri? What about the drive back Saturday?

Snow has been moderate to heavy at times in DT FTW at the I-30/35W interchange with a dusting on cars and grassy surfaces. currently it's a mixture of light snow/sleet mix.

We got 0.55" of rain - which would have been 4-5" of snow if temps had not RISEN to 34 overnight. Around 7 it switched to freezing rain, about 1/10th inch, then sleet, and now snow.

I was really hoping to see more snow because this will probably be my last Texas snow for a long while, since I will be going off to college in the Summer, Yeah I'll probably see snow more often and with higher amounts since it seems that Ohio State is going to be the most likely place I will be going to. But none of the snows there will ever match the snowstorms I experienced here.

Back to rain and sleet. Guess that warm nose was just too much to overcome completely. And then right back to sleet and big snowflakes now. Well it is really coming down now
