Nice pictures! That didn't take long to accumulate at all. Still just small flurries here, but I'm just north of you so I should be getting some soon.

Coming down at a faster clip now it sure is pretty. Just a note to people as the snow is covering the ice it's still very slippery under the snow on sidewalks. I've almost slipped plenty of times in the past few minutes.

You seem to be the lucky one so far! Still only flurries here. Not understanding the radar lol.

If you're under the heaviest precip as Iorange is, the high ratios will probably add up pretty quick. Remember, the FW NWS in their afternoon forecast discussion mentioned unusually high ratios for North Texas of 15:1 (if memory serves correct).
Not an official forecast, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a solid 1-3 over the Metroplex with a few bulls-eye areas in the 2-4" range.
BTW, Intellicast's WSIWeatherActive Map shows several hours worth of snow to come in DFW from my occasional glances at it.

The ULL is still too far away. I believe you may get in on the action a bit later.

There's quite a bit of wraparound developing from Abilene to San Angelo to Midland.

Is this band the only precip were going to see in DFW or is there supposed to be more after this band goes through?
