Here in Weatherford, the intensity has picked here . . . . no longer flurries, but light snow.

However, there must be a lot of dry air. When the radar looked like this yesterday, the snow was coming down a lot harder than it is now.

Another interesting observation is that the ground must be a lot colder today than it was yesterday. Yesterday the accumulation was only on cars, roofs, and a little on the grass. Whereas today it's sticking to the ground immediately, almost more it seems than to the roofs and cars.

Just a dusting so far.

Signature of very high ratio snows and cold surface temperatures. Was the case Super bowl storm and early last Feb.

I was about ready to give up on this storm. But in the past few minutes, wow, it has really changed. It is snowing as hard as yesterday and the roads are completely covered with snow now! Only 0.1" on car, but slightly more I believe on the ground.

This makes the third consecutive day of measurable snowfall here. You don't see that very often in north Texas!

At my house, 32 degrees and cloudy. It really does look and feel like it could snow. Too dry as usual.
Looks like the panhandle and South Plains regions are the winners with this one. Some nice traffic cam pics.

More flurries on the Hill. I swear, it's the week of the flurries, which is just slightly less upsetting than the week of the furries.

I'm getting it too by the big airport, looks like it's not taking long to saturate. It's going to get much heavier once you do.
