I say you get half a foot. LOL, 4-5 inches area wide maybe? Deja Vu having us keep updating numbers...

Coming down heavier again here now too.

Can someone please help me or explain this to me... According to radar..this band of snow is going to be gone over me before you not it and hasn't dropped any snow?

Its finally snowing, light.. Still don't understand why the radar had so much here and nothing was falling...till now.

I think the air is so dry that it just has taken a while for the atmosphere to moisten up and the precip to begin making it to the ground.

Maybe...

Snowing where you are at?

Nothing falling here. Look at the radar, Denton county = no snow right it looks like. It came down hard earlier.

It happened everywhere your not special. Radars were picking up precip falling from the upper levels it wasn't reaching the ground.. But meanwhile it was moisting up the upper columns until the precip could finnally reach the sfc

I hope the ULL tracks due east so we can tap into the gulf moisture here. COVERED in ice right now.

I live in Denison, but I'm at work in Sherman.
It's snowing very heavily here.
We have about half an inch and that's within the past 15 minutes.
I'm sure it'll start up soon for Denison.

I just wanted to advise that the column here must be completely cooled as I couldn't hear precip for a while, so I looked outside, & there are thick flakes falling now. The thickest of the evening for me. 16 degree dewpoint & NWS upped our snow POP to 100%. They say 2-4 inches. I think that's low ball.

I won't argue with you, but if the low travels due east, you will get more snow, but north Texas would be hammered, based on the vort max in full effect.

Wow got about 3 or a little more inches in Carrollton. If that band southwest swings toward us it seems like we will get half a foot!! I wonder if they will issue a WSW or something. I wonder what they are thinking

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that a major ice storm is unfolding down south.

Sounded very serious a couple of hours ago and I bet it has only gotten worse.

Dallas county is getting hammered right now. Any reports from Dallas' inner core? The dry slot west of FW is starting to fill in with the bands coming from Abilene area.
