Trying to get a picture uploaded but its not uploading from my phone. I can tell you it seems to be going back and forth between sleet and snow right now. Everything mixed together right now.

31° with light freezing rain and sleet in Weatherford. No accumulation except on elevated surfaces (cars, trees, etc.). However, a friend in NW Parker County says the roads are getting bad there.

Light sleet falling in south Grand Prairie. Starting to collect on my backyard table.
Edit. Back to all rain. Slowly melting off.

Latest aircraft data indicates warm layer aloft is cooling and becoming more favorable for sleet production in the Metroplex. #txwx #dfwwx

I can confirm the DFW airport report. East side, light rain/sleet mix.

High reflectivity is moving in from Parker county to Tarrant county.

Here in downtown Weatherford, precipitation is lighter now, but is transitioning from freezing rain to mostly light sleet. Starting to stick to ground.

Getting a little more sleet mixed here in Cedar Hill/Grand Prairie area, as well. No snowflakes though.

We better get a snowstorm before this winter is over. :x

5-6 days out, if I"m not mistaken that's the time frame that the models tend to lose the winter systems around here then they are back in 3-4 days out.

Pure rain in Grapevine, just west of DFW airport. No sign of anything freezing, not even on metal surfaces.

Very impressive looks just like a squall line (albeit slightly thicker).

That yellow and red line of precip on the radar is heavy, but at least when it crossed over Weatherford was mostly rain (technically freezing rain since the temp was below 32°).

After is passed, the precip has transitioned to all light sleet now.

My guess is that the northern part of the line, up towards Decatur and Gainesville, may be sleet or snow. Maybe someone up that way can tell us.
