Ok, am I crazy(don't answer that!)or does that show the main low "relocating" more to the SW towards the Big Bend area? If so, it seems to me that unless it makes a sharp left turn that could be a major game changer for tomorrow. Tell me what am I missing?

That's what I'm getting at. I...it must be a model fluke.

That's the surface low. It was always shown to traverse from the big bend and to the coastal Texas. It's the mechanism to throw moisture from the gulf northwards. The ULL is forecast to track along I-20 in Texas for now, we'll have to wait and see. Where the two meet is the location of the wintry precip.

This thing even has the HPC under doing it if I'm seeing it correctly.

What map? I can't read anything. Is this whole snow event not gonna come true? :( The trends from NAM and GFS is less and less snow.

If the pressure is lower (or the number) does that mean that the cold air lifts more? (im still learning so dont laugh!)

True as that may be, it's starting to appear to me that the trajectories are off.

It's going to become true...but the story might be more of a bestseller.

Yes and then I fudge them to what I think will happen. Been calling this all day long...but no one seems to believe me.

This DFW temperature forecast from the NWS might be in jeopardy.

Wednesday: Snow, mainly before noon. Temperature falling to around 19 by 5pm. Wind chill values between 6 and 16. Windy, with a north northwest wind between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

If the front gets to DFW quicker (by 1am to 3am) than what the model projects, we could be in the mid-teens by 5PM tomorrow.

This is not a forecast, just speculation on what a faster front will do to the temperatures.
