I agree.. Still think your area could see some but I don't think the rest of htown will be cold enough.. NW Houston up to conroe looks to me to be the freeze line

From just extrapolating the radar from El Paso, it looks like the warning areas are correct. Hillsboro to Georgetown on the I-35 corridor looks like a good heavy spot.
Edit: radar returns not available over Mexico, so I'll cross my fingers that something big is in southwest Texas in the morning:-)

For those following the ruc, the 03z starts sending the precip southeast at the 10-12 hour frame like the gfs has been showing.. Track looks pretty similar.. only major difference I see is in precip.. Ruc looks a lot drier... Too dry

It's radar WOBBLE WATCHING time!!!!!
Save it as it isn't on Storm2k, but when we do another smiley update, I'll remember to get that one on there.
Ill take extra butter on mine! Its going to be real close for us sg.. If I had to bet though.. Don't think we will see snow.. At least south of i-10.. You're north of it so you got a better shot then me but still wouldn't expect it..
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. But now the NWS is messing with us. They've added all snow into the forecast and now forecasting about an inch for me. I was just thinking I might see some flakes. Of course, it's just a forecast. It doesn't mean it will happen. It just makes the letdown more painful when it doesn't happen. lol
Tuesday Night: Rain and snow likely before midnight, then a chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. North wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow before 9am. Partly cloudy, with a high near 52. North wind between 10 and 15 mph.

So does the lack of posting mean no go on the storm? Did that 12" set the bar so high that that 2" just does not cut it? I mean prior to the record snow we would go crazy for just flurries....... Oh well off to bed. Hope to wake up and see some mmore white stuff outside.
