Another Possible Winter Scenario for the Deep South???

#1 Postby CYCLONE MIKE » Sun Dec 14, 2008 11:28 pm

Yes I know it is a week away but, I found this on our latest AFD from the BTR/NO Office. I can only wish.

CANADIAN/MODIFIED ARCTIC COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE
AREA SATURDAY...IN LINE WITH GFS MODEL...TO BRING A RETURN TO
WINTER TEMPERATURES FOR THE WINTER SOLSTICE. TRENDS WILL HAVE TO
BE WATCHED FOR POSSIBILITY OF WEST GULF LOW DEVELOPING NEXT
WEEKEND THAT MAY PRODUCE A RISK OF WINTER WEATHER...BUT THERE IS
PLENTY OF TIME FOR ADJUSTMENTS.
