Summer in New England, but "winter" on MT. Washington NH

went to the summit today

base temp 66 .....summit 38 w/ 50 mph sustained gusts 60 (was there at 530-600pm)

boston was like 78 or so and sunny

what a view ....nice lenticular clouds on way up

crossed timberline at like 5200 feet and the wind grew loud and the clouds were zipping right into us

currently Mt. washington is 30 degrees with freezing fog (never experienced that before) and wnw winds at 75 w/ gusts to 84 http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KMWN.html

find it very fascinating
